I only drink soda very rarely, and here’s part of the reason why. I also caution relying too much on “diet” anything — it’s chemicals replacing the sugar in diet soft drinks. It just doesn’t sound like a good plan to drink diet soda like water. Drink diet soda like you would any soft drink, once in a while, and drink water like it’s, well, water!

Did you hear the news about the other white meat? Use a thermometer, don’t judge by color, when cooking pork.  145 degrees is now considered a safe temperature for most meats.

Last year, British chef Jamie Oliver focused his attention on a town in West Virginia, to try and turn around the unhealthy eating trends in the school cafeterias. A year later, journalists have checked in to see how things have progressed. The news is pretty good!
