1) The so-so Somewhat Indian Potato and Kohlrabi dish I made last night was excellent converted into a hash with fried eggs. Yum! (No photo evidence though — I was too ravenous to take a picture.)
2) The olive bread from Against the Grain Bakery in Chestertown (available at the Easton farmer’s market on Saturdays) tastes just like pizza when you broil it with cheese on top (in this case, yogurt-cultured, semi-soft goat cheese that I found at the Amish market). In addition to the olives, this bread has some kind of nut in it — I haven’t identified it yet. It’s both surprising and good when you bite into one.
