The Haul: Seeing Red Edition

It’s been a busy day and it ain’t over yet, but I had time to sneak in trips to the open-air and Amish farmer’s markets and now I’m sneaking in my weekly The Haul post. I missed the markets last week while I was living it up in Ocean City. I was glad to see that there were still plenty of tomatoes. I didn’t score as good a deal as I did last time I stocked up for freezing, but I bought a whole mess of tomatoes anyhow. I bought romas for freezing, grape tomatoes for snacking and Red Zebras for who knows what. I also happened upon the cutest chili peppers at one of the other stalls. The farmer told me I could just pop them in the freezer and throw them directly into chili without defrosting them. She said two per pot would be quite enough as they’re really hot. Not sure what possessed me to buy 20 of them then. But they’re so cute!
